This is the first official post for the Wasatch County Food Revolution! Girls Get'n Fit, LLC is putting on a LOVE TO THE LUNCH LADIES 5k to raise $$ to support healthier school lunches through Jaime Oliver's Food Revolution. The parents on the WC Food Revolution committee will be posting pictures of school lunches in their children's schools. The purpose of this blog is to gather information and see where the greatest needs are. My son Weston will be taking the first pictures of what is available at Wasatch High school for lunch. I offered to go eat with him, but he declined. :) We will post pictures later today.
Why is healthy food so important for our kids? It is directly related to academic performance! What other reason do you need? Many more reasons to follow!
